Michelle Livingston is the owner of Sunshine Mesa Farm in the North Fork Valley of Colorado. Over the years, she has gained significant expertise in small-scale poultry farming, refining practices that help other farmers and backyard enthusiasts succeed. She keeps a flock of egg layers, and her farm specializes in hatching and raising birds for others, with a focus on humane and sustainable farming methods. Michelle also works with Whiting Farms Hatchery in Delta, facilitating chick and adult bird sales and supporting customers in selecting high-quality chicken breeds. She is dedicated to promoting ethical and environmentally sound poultry farming and enjoys sharing practical strategies with other farmers. In her free time, Michelle and her husband enjoy hiking, gardening, and debating whether adding yet another farm project is a brilliant idea or pure madness.
